SERIES Statement
He is a young boy who knows of nothing but the desert. As important as his role is to the story, the main character is always the land. Adobe Farm is a collection of twelve 4”x4” landscape paintings which depict a year of life on a small southwestern farm. Each work has its own unique short story. Collectively, the stories and paintings convey the harshness and beauty of desert life. Even though the boy’s experiences are limited, his observations have made him far wiser than most.
